This is our very first post on this blog. Let us share with you what we think kindness means...
Kindness is about love and care for others in our daily life. How do we show kindness? For example, we can help people who are in need. We can help the poor by helping in charity work. It is important to show kindness to everybody, because maybe one day we might also need their help. But remember, doing kind acts is always better than having kind acts done for you. Kindness is very important, so be kind to your family and friends.

ReplyDeleteKindness is important in our daily life. Kindness is everywhere. You can even show kindness by helping handicapped people to cross the road. It is okay if you do not know them. Just help them.

ReplyDeleteMinimally, we can show kindness by smiling. As the song goes (to the tune of Auld Lang Syne):
A smile is quite a funny thing
It wrinkles up your face
And when it's gone, you'll never find
Its secret hiding place
But far more wonderful it is
To see what smiles can do
You smile at one, she smiles at you
And so one smile makes two
He smiles at someone, since you smile
And then that one smiles back
And that one smile smiles until in truth
You fail in keeping track
And since a smile can do great good
By cheering hearts of care
Let's smile and not forget the fact
That smiles go everywhere
Somehow I always associate kindness with the Singa the Lion.Seeing the 5 kindness ambassadors,it has kind of reminded me that I had been awarded the most courteous pupil in my sec 2 class. Those were the days... hee. Oh yes, to me, for kindness to be sincere, it must come from the heart. We need to do it without expecting any reward. I believe kindness is in everyone. So let's observe kind acts and create a kinder society!
